What sets our PLC manufacturing above the competition? Ensure’s obsessive adherence to in-house Premium quality Manufacturing, Testing, and Inspection processes. Each one of our PLC splitters (along with chips, wafers, ferrules & fiber arrays) is carefully manufactured in-house, with meticulous control of the entire production chain to ensure the most reliable connectivity is guaranteed. Every splitter is crafted to meet Telcordia GR-1209 and GR-1221 standards, and is rigorously tested prior to shipment using calibrated test equipment.

Crafted with various bandpasses, splitting ratios, fiber types and connector/packaging options; customisation options for our splitters make it possible to dramatically optimise the performance for our key account client’s varying architectures.

PLC Wafers

With our engineers closely involved during production, Ensure’s planar lightwave circuit (PLC) wafers exemplify premium quality. Our wafers are crafted through the coating, lithography, and exchange of glass substrate, fabricated onto different channels of quartz (2-4-8-16-32-64). We assure the highest level of optical performance, with outstanding yield, stability, and reliability.

PLC Chips

As a key component of Ensure’s PLC splitters, our chips are renowned in the marketplace for their superior optical performance, stability and reliability.
Our chips play an integral part in PON: passive optical networks, due to their efficiency in allowing multiple subscribers to receive light signals simultaneously. Through the utilisation of lithography technology, optical power from one or two input ports is divided into multiple output ports.
Ensure also has the unique ability to curate tailor-made designs for customisation of specialised PLC chips, to optimise the performance for our client’s varying architectures.
